Risk and compliance management are two important pillars of GRC. Traditionally, many organizations considered these functions the purview of specialists, led by a Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and a Chief Compliance Officer (CCO). This perception is however changing, with the growing recognition that addressing risk and ensuring compliance are the responsibilities of the operating and executive management, assisted by the CRO and CCO and their teams. In other words, responsibilities are shifting from the 2nd to the 1st line.

In addition, advances in technology – specifically around analytics and machine learning – are providing both the 1st and 2nd lines with powerful tools to understand the current state of the organization, as well as its recent past, and increase visibility into what might happen in the future.

Join this webinar in which the experts will provide insights on how GRC is evolving and how technology enables more informed and intelligent decision making.

Discussion points will include:

  • Who should be accountable and responsible for managing risk and staying compliant?
  • The changing roles of the CRO and CCO
  • The impact of technology enhancements on risk and compliance
  • Who should decide on how to use technology for GRC?
  • What the future holds?
